Heartland Christian Academy lies amid the corn fields along a dusty road in a hard to get to part of Shelby County. These group homes house some of the troubled youth that live, work, and study in this Christian based Community. There are four different designs with similar programmatic requirements that serve as the prototypes of the numerous group homes that are planned. These four homes have been designed to evoke the simple well grounded farm homes in the area and the values of the people that have grown up there.
